The people have spoken. After tremendous public demand, Outkast have announced a third show to make their #ATLast homecoming concert a full weekend series.
The show takes place on Sunday, September 28, at Centennial Olympic Park. The Friday and Saturday shows — the latter will also feature performances by KiD CuDi, Childish Gambino, and Atlanta newcomer Raury — sold out not long after tickets went on sale.
“Wow. Atlanta is the town that raised us and for everyone to show support like this is overwhelming and truly a blessing. We’re stoked,” said Big Boi in an official statement. His partner in rhyme André 3000 also chimed in saying, “Atlanta thank you. This is so awesome. I don’t even have a cool quote to say. So I’ll just scream.”
The idea of three consecutive Outkast shows in ATL feels almost mythical, but it’s indeed a very real situation folks.
Fans can purchase tickets for the Sunday via Ticketmaster tonight (June 9) at 8 PM EST. Stay tuned for news on the guests.
