Singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko teased a new record called “To Love & Die,” the leading single on her upcoming Souled Out LP, on Instagram less than 24 hours ago. But the Los Angeles native opted not to let the sample whet appetites for long, as she’s unveiled the full song.
Featuring Cocaine 80s, Aiko made sure to make the eclectic track a family affair. Musically, this is right in pocket with what we’ve come to expect from the songbird. She uses her sultry voice to detail the how complicated love can be, while Grammy winning songwriter, James Fauntleroy, assists with background vocals over lush, string laden production.
