Jason Kidd Expressed Issues With Brooklyn Nets, Traded To The Bucks

Over the weekend, New York Post reported that head coach Jason Kidd was looking to leave the Brooklyn Nets for greener pastures (more on that later) due to issues with the higher ups in the organization. And it appears that his wish has come to fruition.

After one year of coaching, Kidd sought a promotion that would give him control over basketball operations similar to what Doc Rivers and Gregg Popovich have  Los Angeles and San Antonio respectively. But after he was denied, the NBA Hall Fame shoe-in expressed that he’d like to join the Milwaukee Bucks organization. That’s the case as of today (June 30).

Jason Kidd will go to the Bucks to coach for 2015 and 2019 second round picks, league source tells Yahoo Sports,” Yahoo! NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted.

It’s unclear why Kidd specified the Bucks or if the team gave him the deal the Nets wouldn’t. But now that he’s setting up shop in Wisconsin, it’ll be interesting to see what changes come with the big move.

Stay tuned for more details.
