Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug are building a very solid catalog of collaborative tracks. With records like Rich Gang’s “Lifestyle” and a guest look on Young Scooter’s “New Young Ni**as” in rotation, the duo return with “I Got It.”
This record may take a bit longer to resonate with listeners, as it dons production inspired by a vintage Atlanta bounce that predates the growling sounds of trap music. Both Quan and Thugga trade off melodic verses and share the spotlight on a catchy chorus. In other words, we’ve seen this recipe before.
