Sunday Service is a first-ever joint offering from Spanish Harlem MC Bodega Bamz and Bronx house duo Martinez Bothers. The result? A “different take on the whole house vs. hip-hop thing,” according to Steve, one-half of the spinning pair.
In a chance encounter, Bamz met the DJs through a common friend before agreeing to work on a few beats. In an unexpected change of heart, both parties scrapped Plan A and instead headed into the studio to clock in the many hours it took to solidly create an entire mixtape.
