Tony Mack Tony Mack’s four-year run as mayor of Trenton, N.J. ended in a prison sentence. Mack was elected in 2010, and in 2012 he was arrested on charges of accepting bribes, extortion, and fraud. He initially refused to step down but was convicted earlier this year. Mack was sentenced to close to five years in federal prison.

    You forgot Edward McIntyre Sr., the first Black Mayor of Augusta, Ga. from 1981-1984. Mr. McIntyre resigned after his Federal conviction in April 28,1984. He served 5 years in prison.
