It’s Ab-Soul season in the TDE camp. As his These Days… album continues to permeate fans’ ears, the rapper returns with a visual for “Hunnid Stax,” featuring ScHoolboy Q.
Sonically, the song is dark and gloomy, but it’s very much a braggadocios cut when the lyrics are broken down. Soul-O and company invade the sunny streets of Los Angeles to the sounds of Mac Miller’s (he makes a cameo to perform the chorus) eerie production.
However, the vibe is brightened by eye candy at seemingly every possible turn. From the time Soul rides plush in a limo to when the TDE duo invade a lavish mansion, it’s easy to forget than any rappers are on the premises. Catch it all in the treatment below.
