Eighteen years after its release, Tupac Shakur’s 1996 double disc LP, All Eyez On Me, has earned diamond certification from RIAA.

The album released at the peak of the East Coast/West Coast beef that claimed the lives of Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., and would further propel Death Row Record’s powerhouse status. Laden with hit records like the “California Love (Remix),” “How Do You Want It,” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted,” hard-hitting street anthems like “Can’t C Me,” and thought provoking testimonies a la “Shorty Wanna Be A Thug,” the West Coast repper shook up the industry with over two hours of music.

In his wake, many consider All Eyez On Me to be the poetic MC’s magnum opus. Give your thoughts about the renowned album in the comments.
