Representing the DMV is rapper Chaz French, who returns with a new track titled “LMGLML” (an acronym for “Let Me Go, Let Me Live”).
Those unfamiliar with the newcomer will become quickly notice his natural affinity for language, a love that flows out effortlessly when he rhymes. French waxes poetics about the turmoils of life and love while switching flows and pitches in his cadence. He’s assisted by fellow DMV native, Goldlink, who chants a sing-songy chorus.
French’s truthfulness translates into namedropping a former significant other un-remorsefully. Love isn’t always sweet.
