Apple’s intended 2014 takeover has experienced far too many bumps in the road than their technological highway would have liked to allow.
The recently released iPhone 6 is battling reports that it bends in pockets and now its software companion–iOS 8–has been snatched from the app store after far too many customer complaints.

On Wednesday, Apple introduced the update as a remedy for a snag with HealthKit apps and other maladies that afflicted the first version of the company’s new mobile operating system software for iPhones and iPads.
But reports surfaced that the update introduced other problems. On Twitter, some of the folks who had installed the update said that they lost cellular service or that the Touch ID fingerprint scanner was no longer working.
“We are actively investigating these reports and will provide information as quickly as we can,” said Apple in a statement. “In the meantime, we have pulled back the iOS 8.0.1 update.”
Apple also addressed an issue where third-party keyboards could be deselected when a user entered a passcode. And 8.0.1 fixes an issue that had prevented some apps from accessing photos in your photo library.
Such news is obviously not a good look but Apple heads are sticking by their chosen product. The company announced it sold $10 million worth of iPhone 6’s during the first week of its debut.
