An Indiana couple’s marriage lasted only a few hours but there will be no messy divorce settlements or custody battles.

Both of them are dead.

Indiana doctor Greg “Scott” Samson killed his new wife, Kelly Ecker, and then himself after a dispute hours after their wedding, IndyStar reported.

Disturbing new details of the 911 calls Ecker made emerged late Tuesday, showing that she feared for her life, according to WTHITV.

“He’s beating the s— out of me,” Ecker is heard saying.

“Who is?” the dispatcher asks.

“My husband,” she answers.”

When asked who her husband is, Ecker replies, “Scott Samson. He’s got guns inside,” and then the line goes dead.

The joyous nuptials of Samson, 54 and Ecker, 50, were overshadowed by a fight that turned ugly at their Terre Haute mansion, forcing guests to leave the reception shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday.

After the last guest left, a heated argument broke out between the newlyweds, and the bride made a frantic call to 911 saying her husband threatened to kill her, officials said.

“The investigation has revealed that there was a verbal argument between the couple toward the end of the reception, which carried over to the after-party at the couple’s home,” said Vigo County Chief Deputy Sheriff Clark Cottom.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a lifeless Ecker with multiple shots in her head and torso and Samson dead from a self-inflicted shot from 45-caliber handgun.

To make matters more troubling, Ecker’s 10-year-old son and Samson’s parents were said to be home at the time of the incident.
