Lupe Fiasco’s long-awaited fifth album Tetsuo & Youth is one foot out of limbo. With a January 20, 2015 release date in place and the Lost In The Atlantic mixtape due to drop before then, the Chicago lyricist returns with a new track called “Lilies.”
The cut, which features songstress Sirah, will appear on the latter project. Backed by lush live instrumentation, grounded by horns and proper percussion, Fiasco delivers a dexterous story. Listeners may need to spin this record a few times.
