Drake hit the Internet with at least his second Jocedi-based track, “How About Now” over the weekend. And with over 72 appearances on the Billboard “Hot 100” chart, it’s probably been played out to call Drake an actor-turned-rapper for a while now.
But the fact of the matter is Drake took in a few Degrassi: The Next Generation checks before becoming the bankable artist he is today. Despite the difficulty and stigma attached with the transition from being a thespian to a respected rapper or singer, these 22 actors turned musicians gave it a shot.
