If you’re under the impression that Jamaica is all Sandals resorts and premium ganja, allow Joyner Lucas to physically show you how the majority of the population is currently living.

It’s a bare bones lifestyle as far as the shottas are concerned, and the New England rapper’s beautifully directed video, “Riding Solo” highlights the street life of the everyday population without actually glorifying it.

You can actually thank Motion Family for that, as they capture everything from livestock to tattoo tears to kids whose lives will eventually be shaped by the surroundings in their immediate environment.

The video is obviously well done but the actual song is pure battery acid as well. Look for “Riding Solo” to be the spark that kicks off Joyner Lucas’ next project.
