Early Wednesday morning (Nov. 5), Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Yung Berg, born Christian Ward, was arrested in Manhattan for attacking and brutalizing his girlfriend, castmate Masika Tucker.
According to TMZ, Berg was charged with “obstruction of breathing” after choking the woman out, dragging her by the hair and punching her in the face.
It was the New York Post that revealed the girlfriend to be Masika Tucker, a fellow cast member on the VH1 reality show. On the show, the two are currently in a pseudo-love triangle with Hazel-E.
The incident occurred at the Gershwin Hotel on 27th St. and 5th Ave. shortly after 2 a.m. Tucker was not seriously injured and refused medical attention.
Berg, known for the hit “Sexy Can I” and having his chain stolen by goons multiple times, is currently in custody.
