While Michael Phelps is off in rehab trying to get himself together, his alleged girlfriend is revealing something she kept from him. She was born a male by the name of David Roy Fitch.
The correct term for the woman living as Taylor Lianne Chandler is “intersex.” Chandler. 41, was born with a uterus and male genitals, the latter which she had removed in her 20s.
Reports The Daily Mail:
As she explains in a Facebook post, ‘I was never a man, never lived as a man. No one can say they knew me as a man or produce a photo of me as a man.’
She then adds, ‘There are people that remember me as an androgynous child at times because of what was forced upon me.’
She is also revealing how in love she is with Phelps, and claims the two clicked after meeting on Tinder.
‘Spending time with him was like a teenage love affair,’ she says.
‘I have never felt so comfortable and accepted in every way as I did with him.’
Chandler says she met the 29-year-old Olympian on the dating app, Tinder.
She thinks their relationship is probably over at this point “because he is a brand that his team wants to protect.”
Phelps was suspended from swimming after his most recent DUI arrest in September, Chandler says she was with him at the time. She also says he’s already been released from rehab.
Also, there’s no real evidence that they were together, but Chandler does have some collages of him and stuff on her Facebook page.
