There’s yet to be a redistribution of wealth among the people, but Barack Obama has often been referred to as a socialist. One magazine took that notion and ran with it.

Via HuffPost:

Conservative Brazilian news magazine Veja marked the Obama administration’s opening of diplomatic relations with Cuba with a healthy dose of artistic license.

This week’s cover of Veja features a caricature of President Barack Obama in the style of a famous image of Argentine Marxist revolutionary Ernest0 “Che” Guevara, over the headline “The American Friend.”

Albeit we can hardly compare our president to Che (who joined Fidel Castro’s revolutionary unit and led radical movements in Africa before being executed in 1967 while trying to start another uprising in Bolivia), Obama too has become a symbol of revolution.

What do you think? Weigh in at the bottom.
