Southern rap legends 8Ball and MJG are set to end their hiatus in Hip-Hop with a new album.

The Memphis duo, who hasn’t released an album since 2004’s Living Legends, will make their return to the game with their latest project Ten Toes Down.

The album which features Snoop Dogg, T.I., Bun B, David Banner, and Young Dro with production by Frank Nitti of Nitti Beats, Drumma Boy, Nard & B, and Mo B. package is set to hit stores on April 6 2010.

Ten Toes Down will mark a new beginning for the Memphis home team as it becomes available for release through a deal with Grand Hustle and independent record label E1.

Speaking on the new partnership with E1 is Grand Hustle’s mastermind and co-founder, T.I., who released a statement expressing his excitement saying,

“I’m happy to be working with America’s #1 independent, E1 Music.”

Co-signing his statement is Tip’s partner in crime / Grand Hustle CEO Jason Geter, who says,

“T.I and I were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Ball & Gee from the very beginning. We’ve both been fans, and this new album is classic Ball & Gee material & we’re excited for the world to hear it.”

Ball and MJG recently shot a video for the title track to the album directed by Gabriel Hart.

The video for “Ten Toes Down” is still forthcoming.
