On Saturday, January 10, Wale headlined at Irving Plaza in NYC on the first leg of his SIMPLE Mobile Simply Nothing Tour. There were a few too many opening acts leaving the crowd anxious for him to come out.

However, out of all of the opening acts, Audio Push put on a very energetic performance while keeping the crowd engaged . Their lyrical chemistry became evident on stage which showcased their true talents and how passionate they are about their music. During the remaining opening acts, the crowd became so annoyed that they were chanting “Wale, Wale, Wale” hoping that the other acts would just stop performing.

Initially, Wale hit the stage he immediately explained how sensitive he is about his music being critiqued and apologized for his temper tantrums. Throughout the night, his energy was consistent while bringing out a couple of surprise guests as well. His first surprise guest was Harlem native, ASAP Ferg who immediately took the energy to another level performing his top hit songs, “Work” and “Shabba.” Wale’s next guest came to a surprise since there was rumored beef between him and this R&B songstress. Nevertheless, Tiara Thomas stepped on stage to sing the chorus of their hit record “Bad.”
