From tip-toeing in a pair of Air Jawwdinz to announcing a partnership with Jordan Brand that was a sham, the story behind RiFF RAFF’s “Neon Icon” has been very, um, bizarre. Now, fans are clamoring for a pair via an eBay bid that’s sky rocketed to a whopping $1 million fee.
No, your eyes do not deceive you.
Jordan Brand told Hip-Hop Wired exclusively that they had no plans to collaborate with RiFF RAFF. Yet the “rap star’s” cult fan base managed to raise the price tag of the faux Jordans ridiculous heights.
It’s very unlikely that the winner of the bid will cop the kicks, because $1 million. Also, the sneaker game is so screwed up.
