The New York Knicks are absolutely pathetic this year but Carmelo Anthony and his Jordan Melo 11’s are nice so the swag balances its self out. (Sort of.)

Jordan Brand is still standing besides the Knickerbockers only hope and they recruited NYC resident (by way of Ohio) Stalley to get his Morgan Freeman on in their newest video ad.

The :30 second spot features the MC narrating the thought process of a high school standout who’s having his reservations about budding into a star in the court. When you really wrap your head around the notion, the idea of a juvenile who’s able to overcome pressures to get grades, balance raging hormones and become NBA-ready is actually uncanny. When the budding star laces up his Jordan Melo 11’s however, he knows he’s “ready.”

In real-time, Anthony and his struggle squad just came back from London where he introduced a new colorway for the Jordan Melo 11’s and rubbed shoulders with royalty. Although his trip was successful business wise, the Milwaukee Bucks made lightwork out of the NYC team, helping extend their losing streak to a franchise-record of sixteen.

The new Jordan Melo 11 commercial can be viewed above. Hit the flip to see how Stalley is living in his in addition to flicks from Carmelo’s European workcation.
