A Stockton, California hoodlum–who is alleged to be the culprit of several other robberies in his area–made police’s job a lot easier after he accidentally shot himself after sticking up a Valero gas station.

A California man accidentally shot himself after during the third stop of his robbery spree.
Twenty-one-year-old Donnello Knowles was robbing a Stockton gas station when he accidentally shot himself in the leg with the shotgun he was using to threaten his victims, reports KCRA.
Knowles ran across the street from the gas station after robbing it to a friend’s apartment, looking for help. The friend called police, who recognized Knowles from his description in the robbery of a local nail salon, a Subway, and a Valero gas station.
When officers from the Stockton Police Department responded to the apartment, they found money from the robberies in Knowles’ clothes, and the gun he used still in the apartment.
Knowles has been charged with robbery and weapons charges. He has not been booked into prison but is under guard at the hospital.
Although police are likely withholding video of the alleged incident for the time being, we’ll just leave this video here for reenactment purposes.
