Desus Nice and The Kid Mero (who both made our Black Twitter 100, by the way) flipped their Internet celebrity into followers, a dope podcast and most recently, a gig as members of the cast of MTV2 Guy Code. The Bronx delegates spoke candidly on how they got on and how you too can flourish on these e-streets.

“We come from the part of the train where no one wants to go,” Desus told Hip-Hop Wired of what he and Mero add to Guy Code. “We’re bringing that BX flavor and no one cares what Bronx people think and now we’re forcing y’all.”

Although Twitter can’t ever seem to get enough of his tweets, Mero says the platform can be corny, but beneficial if used wisely.

“If you’re using [Twitter] to raise your profile ad bring people into other work that you, it’s dope man. There’s nothing like it. And it’s free.”
