Ahmad Givens, better known as “Real” from VH1‘s Real Chance Of Love show, has died. According to his brother, Chance, Real succumbed to cancer Saturday morning (Feb. 21) after fighting the disease for some time.

TMZ spoke exclusively with Chance, who confirmed the passing of his brother. Real was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2013, which progressed to stage 4. As recently as a week ago, Real posted on his Instagram page. But earlier this morning, Chance posted on his Instagram about his brother’s passing.

“By to my favorite guy in this whole world be in peace we love you forever bro I’ll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God’s kindom forever and ever bro words can’t describe my pain world pray for me!” wrote Chance on his page.

More from TMZ:

Real’s brother Chance tells TMZ … the reality star’s condition worsened after he took a fall in January … he was bedridden ever since.

We’re told Real was having trouble with vision and speech Friday night during a family visit … and they had a feeling the end was near. He passed away hours later.

As we previously reported … the reality star was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2013. Real underwent surgery and things were looking positive, but earlier this year the cancer returned and he began chemotherapy treatments.

Visiting Real’s public Facebook page, condolences from family, friend and fans have been pouring in remembering him fondly. According to the posts of those who met Real, they all share the sentiment that he was a gracious and warm person.

Rest Powerfully In Peace, Real.
