NBA star Chris Bosh was recently hospitalized due to blood clots in his lungs. Due to his condition, the Miami Heat announced that he will miss the rest of the 2014-2015 NBA season.

Reports the Miami Heat:

The Miami HEAT announced today that Chris Bosh will miss the remainder of the 2014-15 Season, while being treated for blood clots on his lung.

Bosh, who is receiving care under the guidance of Miami HEAT team physicians at a Baptist Health System Hospital, is currently resting comfortably. Chris is OK and his prognosis is good.

The Miami Herald reported that Bosh was admitted to the hospital on Thursday (Feb. 19) to undergo testing after complaining of chest pain.

Blood clots, or pulmonary embolisms, are treated with blood thinners, making Bosh’s return to the court during treatment unrealistic.

Get well soon.
