With Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated upcoming album To Pimp a Butterfly around the corner, it’s only inevitable that songs begin to seep through the cracks.

The first unofficial preview of the new project just happens to be a record that has quite the reputation proceeding itself. Last October, HBO Music supervisor Scott Vener (of Entourage fame) boasted how the track “King Kunta” would essentially create a new cog in the machine and earn a Grammy Award the first time it’s played on the radio.

Well, the moment of truth is here because “King Kunta” has leaked in full after snippets permeated social media for much of this lovely Friday the 13th.

If the present day does have any negative connotation, the Top Dawg camp can vouch for it as their prized possession is slowly unraveling ahead of its March 23 release date.
