Last Friday, all of Austin, Texas was under the rapture of the 2015 SXSW Music Festival. MTV‘s 24-hour college network, mtvU, hosted the 2015 mtvU Woodie Awards at SXSW with several rising stars rocking their big hits on the grand stage.

The 2015 mtvU Woodie Awards kicked off last Friday (Mar. 20), featuring the likes of Big Sean, Rae Sremmurd, Ty Dolla $ign, Raury, and Action Bronson among many others.

Hosted by Jack Antonoff of Bleachers, the mtvU Woodie Awards saw Big Sean rocking his smash hit “IDFWU” while Rae Sremmurd still getting plenty of burn out of “No Type” much to the delight of the crowd. Fall Out Boy shredded through of medley of their hits while Years & Years rocked out their single, “King.”

Childish Gambino won two Woodie awards, the first for Best Video for his track “Sober,” and the other for Next Level Performance (Finding New Ways To Reach Audiences). Taylor Swift won a Best Cover Woodie for her rendition of Vance Joy’s “Riptide.” The Woodie Of The Year went to Porter Robinson.
