Certified Fresh’s very own Fetty Wap has the skills–and sales to prove he’s in the game for the long haul. The New Jersey native’s breakout hit, “Trap Queen,” has just been certified gold.

The “Trap&B” hit recently saw itself peak at #6 of the Billboard’s Hot 100 Charts. Additionally, the song is not only the #1 spot jam urban radio, it’s the #1 most streamed song in the United States as well. It also holds distinctions as being the #1 joint on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs Chart, #2 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart and is the #7 song on iTunes. In other words, the hit, that has garnered attention from Jay Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Kanye West, is musical royalty.

Fetty Wap recently told Hip-Hop Wired that the record was created organically and made with a specific someone in mind. After getting some good experience performing the song with Kanye West in front of thousands, the Remy Boyz leader will be taking his talents to the MTV Movie Awards, this Sunday, April 12 at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

“Trap Queen is currently available on iTunes now.
