Brittney Griner was arrested on assault and disorderly conduct charges. Also arrested was the Phoenix Mercury player’s fiancee, Glory Johnson (who plays for the Tulsa Shock), for the same charges.

Griner and Johnson were arrested on April 22. The WNBA stars were arrested after a domestic violence situation at their house in Goodyear, Arizona, 20 miles west of Phoenix.
Griner and Johnson were released from the 4th Avenue Jail in downtown Phoenix at 4 a.m. on Thursday.
Griner proposed to her then girlfriend last August and shared the moment on Instagram.
Their mugshots reveal a whole lot of current, and forthcoming struggle.
