So about those claims from B.B. King’s daughters that the late blues legend was poisoned to death. They may be rooted in scorn that they were shut out from the millions his state is reportedly worth.

At least, that’s what Brent Bryson, King’s lawyer, is suggesting. He recently told that NYDailyNews that Karen Williams and Patty King were nothing short of “ridiculous.”

My guess is the children and grandchildren don’t like the fact he’s leaving them $3,000 and $5,000 each and then leaving the rest to his lineage for education,” Bryson says. “B.B. did not have a very high formal education, and he wanted to have his lineage go to college, so he set up a trust that would pay for college and other expenses.”

Both Karen and Patty have finger-pointed two of their father’s closet assistants as the ones who tainted his medicine as his health deterioration was the subject of constant news updates for the past year. Bryson, however, is sticking with his original assumption. Jealous ones still envy.

“There’s no basis in reality for these ridiculous allegations,” Bryson continued. “They all stated he was receiving the utmost professional care at home, which is where Mr. King wanted to be. He didn’t want invasive treatment.”

King died on May 14 at the age of 89. At press time, there is still no order for the criminal investigation B.B. King’s daughters are asking for.
