Odd Future‘s Tyler, The Creator has led his crazy gang of Hip-Hop misfits to the highest of heights in a short span of years. The collective appeared to be less unified as it once was, and Tyler seemed to confirm in a series of mysterious tweets that the Wolf Gang has split apart.
Wednesday night (May 27), Tyler took to Twitter and reminisced about old times with the OFWGKTA crew. In recent times, the crew’s original makeup has changed with Tyler, Domo Genesis, Earl Sweatshirt and Frank Ocean largely operating as solo entities. Of course, that led to whispers over the past year that Odd Future has moved on despite their passionate base of supporters. However, Tyler’s tweet revealed more than ever that there might be a split afoot.
“[D]amn going threw the old golf wang photos sh*t. i miss my friends alot. 5 years later isnt that long but wow soooo much has happened,” tweeted Tyler. Tyler continued posting up old photos from the Odd Future Tumblr page and looking back fondly over the past five years. Yet what turned heads the most was a loaded tweet suggesting the group is “no more.”
