Not everyone is meant to be over 6′ tall and not everyone is meant to have a ridiculously plump ass. The pursuit of the latter led to a Maryland woman’s death after a botched butt injection procedure in Queens, NY.
According to DNA Info New York, 34-year-old Kelly Mayhew travelled from Maryland to a home in Far Rockaway, Queens on May 30 where the procedure was performed in a makeshift operating room.
However, according to Mayhew’s mother, who travelled with her daughter, she started experiencing difficulty breathing after the phony doctor injected her with silicone.
The New York Daily News reports that the mother started performing CPR on her daughter and asked the suspect doc to call 911. Instead, she grabbed her car keys and fled the scene.
Police are still looking for the suspect. Also worth noting, according to her mother, Mayhew had five previous butt enhancement procedures. In February, a Houston woman died after a fourth round of butt injections.
Mayhew was a freelancer for BET Networks. This is just a damn shame and our condolences go out to her family.
