Federal authorities in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., seized millions worth of cocaine from a small home, and arrested six adults yesterday (June 3) during “one of the largest busts in recent history.” The drugs were from the Mexico’s Sinaloa cartel, with a street value of approximately $35 million, or $8.2 million wholesale, and were expected to be sold all over the country.

A day prior, authorities arrested three people in San Bernardino with 55 kilos of cocaine in their car, which led to the larger bust. The home had been under surveillance since last month, there were also three children in the residence.

Roughly 255 kilograms of cocaine was found in the garage of the residence, while the minors were taken by child services.

Neighbors obviously didn’t see this coming. “I’m in shock, because I have two children. The school’s around the corner. I can’t believe it! I can’t,” said one man. “I don’t know what to do, sell my house? I’m in shock.”
