It has been almost two years since Grand Hustle recording artist Doe B was gunned down in his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama and tragically, one of his former rapping partners has endured the same fate.

Authorities in Montgomery have identified a shooting victim from Sunday, June 28 as the rapper as the local rapper FatHead.

Montgomery Police have released the identity of the victim in Sunday’s deadly shooting as 32-year-old Sylvester Morris. Morris’ relatives identified as him as a local rapper who went by the name ‘Fathead’.

According to police, the shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. in the 3500 block of Berkley Drive. Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of shots fired. Once officers arrived to the scene they learned the Morris had been transported to a local hospital by private vehicle.

Investigators say Morris was pronounced dead at the hospital. No other information surrounding the investigation was released.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP, the Secret Witness Line at 262-4000 or the Montgomery Police Department.

According to AllHipHop.com, the shooting was a catalyst from a botched robbery and FatHead indeed had “haters.”
