Lil Wayne has new music to promote and promote he shall later this summer with the first-ever Lil Weezyana Festival in his own backyard of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Weezy’s longtime manager Cortez Bryant revealed the big news via Instagram with a flyer for the event which is taking place on August 28 at 7 p.m. at Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square.
Ticketmaster is billing the outdoor event as “Lil Wayne and Friends,” which could be a telltale sign for the Hot Boys to grace the stage, as well as his Young Money road dawgs, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Cory Gunz, among others. Don’t expect Flow to be there, though.
Despite his beef with Cash Money boss Birdman and the delay of Tha Carter V being his chief storyline this year, Lil Wayne recently linked with TIDAL to drop the Free Weezy album, with guest appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy and other top-notch stars.
