T.I. has been fairly mum about the specifications of his involvement in Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man, but that all changed during a recent sitdown with HipHopDX.
The Hip-Hop megastar has been revving up his movie career this year; making appearances in HBO’s Entourage and the comedy Get Hard alongside Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell but the superhero flick has the potential to be the biggest box-office event he’s ever been apart of.
“I play Dave and Dave is in the four-man crew that Scott has reluctantly put together and we all have a common meeting place where we all met in prison,” Tip Harris explains during the DX Daily. “[And we’re all] trying to get our lives straightened out and on the right path.”
In other words, they are halfway crooks who really aren’t that shook.
Ant-Man hits theaters on July 17 and also stars Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Wood Harris, Judy Greer and Paul Rudd in the titular role.
