It’s time for a change in the child support arrangement that has Halle Berry shelling out $16,000 to her ex, Gabriel Aubrey, for daughter Nahala. Berry in Aubrey headed to court for their child support trial this morning (July 14), where the actress will ask again for a substantial reduction in her monthly obligations.

Halle Berry is in court in a face-off with baby daddy Gabriel Aubry, and she wants a judge to tell him in no uncertain terms … she’s no longer his meal ticket.
Berry’s child support trial begins this morning. TMZ broke the story … Halle wants the judge to reduce the child support she’s paying Gabriel from $16,000 a month to somewhere closer to the neighborhood of $3,000 a month.
Berry has groused Gabriel needs to get a job and pay his own freight. She says she’s happy to pay him to properly care for 7-year-old Nahla when he has physical custody, but she says he’s using the money to avoid work.
Aubry has been a successful model, but says he lost a lot of work after Halle’s then-fiance/now hubby, Olivier Martinez, beat his face in.
Berry and Aubrey met each other on a Versace shoot back in the day. They split in 2010, and have been fighting over everything from money to straightening their daughter’s hair.
The Oscar-winner’s husband, Olivier Martinez, two-pieced Aubrey on Thanksgiving a few years ago, and as you can probably tell, things are still rocky with this “modern family.”
