Nicki Minaj is swimming in apologies. After Meek Mill took to the stage to essentially say “my bad” last night,  Taylor Swift said sorry to clapping back at the YMCMB Barbie about her MTV VMAs tweet

A couple of days ago, Minaj and Swift got into a Twitter tiff over the former’s saltiness about not being nominated for Video of the Year. Swift’s clip for “Bad Blood” was nominated, and she took Minaj’s barbs (no pun) as a slight, tweeting, “I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.”

Nicki responded with incredulousness, said the media was spinning a feud and threw in a woe is me because I’m only getting treated like this because I’m a Black woman (Beyonce is up for Video of the Year for “7/11″—but she does have a point), too.

Nevertheless, Swift has rethought her stray, poorly aimed shots.

“I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ,” tweeted Swift late this morming (July 23).

Nicki accepted Swift’s apology. She shouldn’t expecting one from Safaree anytime soon, though.
