Nick Cannon definitely embodies the work ethic of James Brown mixed with the gig magnetism of Steve Harvey, but no mortal man is capable of always moving a million miles a second. The 34-year-old America’s Got Talent host was admitted to a hospital yesterday, July 22, to recuperate from exhaustion.
“Dont worry, Temporary pit stop… Sometimes I can be a little too bull headed and stubborn. I gotta stop running my body to the ground. I be wanting to grind nonstop but the engine can’t run on fumes,” he captioned on his Instagram account. Although he wasn’t flashing his trademark comedic grin for the photo-op, he was rocking a bucket hat that in no way shape or form was supplied by the nurses. So, y’know, he’s still a clown.
“On the low though, I really think I’m a super hero…,” he jokingly wrote. “Now I’m not saying I’m Batman, but I am saying nobody has ever seen me and Batman in the same room together. LOL #ImGood.”
Cannon also suffers and rallies for those who have lupus and last week, he posted a triumphant message which read, “I fight for my health in ways most people don’t understand. I’m not lazy. I’m a fighter.”
There is no such thing as rushing a speedy recovery so hopefully the timeout will do the body good. Peep Nick Cannon hospitalized–but in high spirits–in the picture below.
