As promised, the official Ride Along 2 trailer has arrived and it looks the ante has been upped for the comedic hijinks.
Ben Barber (Kevin Hart) has achieved his life-long dream of becoming a cop alongside his veteran brother-in-law James Peyton (Ice Cube) and he’s just a much as the bumbling law enforcer you’d expect him to be.
Tika Sumpter and Benjamin Bratt have returned for the sequel opposite newcomers T.I., Ken Jeong and Olivia Munn (who looks to satisfy all those with fetishes for seeing her in a cop uniform).
The movie is directed by Tim Story (Barbershop, Think Like a Man Too, Ride Along uno) and is distributed by Cube’s go-to studio, Universal Pictures.
Look for it to give its existing box office record a run for its money when it arrives in theaters on January 15, 2016.
