Snoop Dogg has a sea of gold and platinum plaques and discography worth of hits he can do multiple shows without repeating a song. Frank Vasquez of Doggy Style Records and Stampede Management, has been along for the ride for ten of those years and he can attest to the various methods of success that goes into recording the legendary rap star.

One of best-kept secrets is introducing him to LANDR, the on-the-spot online mastering software that has made life easier for artists who are on-the-go.

“Using LANDR has been real interesting,” Vasquez says. “I’m from an engineering background and after listening to it and comparing to my masters and even masters of other engineers that I know, it’s good. It’s really on-par.”

Vasquez’s credits include the recently released and criminally slept-on BUSH album, where Snoop Dogg incorporates a bevy of funk and R&B into his project.

“I was very impressed, I won’t lie,” Vasquez admits. “I was skeptical at first but I was very impressed [afterwards].

Whether you’re a professional recording artist or struggle rapper, click here to check out LANDR for free. Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir and Orlando Puerta, who has remixed for Azealia Banks and Madonna, are among the handful of artists who have given LANDR a shot.
