Drake and Future had the Internets going hamburger helper when just the notion of a collaborative project hit the rumor mill. Now that it turned to reality with the release of What A Time To Be Alive, the duo’s fans answered to the tune of projected sales of 500,000 copies its first week of release.

Bear in mind that these are early projections, via Chart News, and with plenty of praise (and criticism) for the album, it may shoot past that number along the way to a no. 1 debut on the album charts.

Don’t count on Chris Brown or Meek Mill as #WATTBA supporters, though.

Also worth noting, the album is via Cash Money Records with Epic Records. [Birdman hand rub.]
