Mars Blackmon stays winning. Today (Oct. 28), Jordan Brand and Spike Lee dropped their latest collaborative shoe, the Jordan Spike Forty.

The shoe marks JB and Spike’s third collaboration, following the Jordan Spiz’ike and Jordan Son of Mars.

Tinker Hatfield sketches and the Air Jordan V were the inspirations for the Spike Forty. The shoe also serves as a homage to the contract Spike signed with the New York Knicks in 199o.

As far as technical specifications, the shoe features a “crafted textile” and “molded TPU based” upper while there is Phylon cushioning in the midsole and a heel Zoom Air unit.

The launch colorway is the Knicks flavored tonal orange/game royal (read: blue). Three more colorways will follow over the holiday season included  game royal/tonal orange on Nov. 4, white/fire red on Nov. 18 and black/fire red on Dec. 16.

Also, the Spike 40 will be available on Nike ID starting Dec. 1. If you cop at retail, they’ll set you back $180 and they’re available at Jordan.com.

Check out detailed images of the Spike 40 below and on the following pages.
