Creed, starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone and directed by Ryan Coogler, is looking to be one of the year’s best films. Recently the aforementioned stars, and co-starTessa Thompson, got Future on the phone to discuss the inspiration for the Atlanta rapper’s song “Last Breath” from the film’s soundtrack.

The Metro Boomin-produced track came together after Future had a convo with Coogler, and an advance look at the film.

“When I got a chance to sit down with the movie, I can relate to the movie,” Future told Coogler, via BET.com. “From just being self-driven, always having that drive from the beginning, just having something in you that’s great. But you also have to work until those moments come, and when those moments come you just wanna be prepared. Reflecting on the song…it was easy after me and Ryan had the conversation.”

In Creed, Jordan plays the son of Apollo Creed of Rocky fame.

Creed will be in theaters starting Wednesday, November 25.
