Fresh off of news that “Thrift Shop” is officially a diamond-selling single, tandem Macklemore and Ryan Lewis deliver their brand new record “Kevin,” featuring southern soul crooner Leon Bridges.

Premiered during last night’s 2015 American Music Awards, the track features a combination of Macklemore’s storytelling and critical commentary, in hopes to enlighten listeners of the devastating nature of prescription drug addiction. This isn’t the war on drugs the good old U.S. of A. usually spotlights in major media, but it’s a message that’s surely needs to be heard.
