Mack Wilds drops a buttery smooth new cut called “Love In The 90z.” The song is from the forthcoming VH1 film The Breaks, and his new album.

“Why don’t we fall in love like we did in the nineties?,” sings Wilds aka Tristan Walker aka Michael from The Wire on a groove that fits right into the film’s 90’s Hip-Hop industry plot.

You may recognize the drums from tracks like SWV’s “Right Here (Human Nature Mix)” or Biz Markie’s “Nobody Beats The Biz.” For the heads, they’re from “Hihache” by the Lafayette Afro Rock Band.

The Breaks airs January 4 onVH1. Mack Wilds’ new album is set to drop early next year and will feature production from Salaam Remi, Teddy Riley, Scott Storch and more.
