James Deen has been recognized as the most popular male adult film star of his era and has even been considered a darling of feminists and teenage girls alike. Deen’s goody-two-shoe image is suffering a bit of tarnish after he’s been accused by a trio of female co-stars from the skin flick industry he currently lords over.

Over the weekend, ex-porn starlet and Deen’s ex-girlfriend Stoya tweeted out the rape accusation, which Deen has staunchly denied. Deen responded in kind on Twitter, calling the claims made by Stoya “egregious” and stating that he respects boundaries both professionally and privately.

Shortly after, another porn star, Tori Lux, shared with the Daily Beast a shockingly descriptive account of the alleged assault she suffered at the hands of Deen on the set of a porn shoot in 2011.

US Weekly has more:

The accusations surfaced on Saturday, Nov. 28, when Stoya, who dated Deen in 2013, tweeted, “That thing where you log in to the internet for a second and see people idolizing the guy who raped you as a feminist. That thing sucks.”

Stoya, who co-owns the porn site TrenchcoatX, followed it up a few minutes later with the claim that “James Deen held me down and f—ed me while I said no, stop, used my safeword. I can’t just nod and smile when people bring him up anymore.”

A few hours later, the editor-in-chief of The Frisky website, Amelia Magritte, tweeted that the site would be suspending the publication of Deen’s sex advice column “for obvious reasons.” And female porn stars, including Deen’s ex Joanna Angel, tweeted their support for Stoya while the hashtag #SolidarityWithStoya trended.

A third woman, Ashley Fires, also came forward and said she refused to work with Deen because he attempted to rape her as well according to her claims.

It’s not looking good for Deen at this juncture.
