The scale in rap is balancing out, if talent is your sole barometer. As Drake’s star continued to rise, Kendrick Lamar seamlessly blended jazz with funk and soul music on a major label album, and Future evolved into the street’s favorite trap star, many of rap’s most compelling narratives of 2015 lived in the underground.

With just a few weeks left in the year, Wiki of New York City rap troop RatKing will make his presence felt on his upcoming project lil me.

Due to release December 7, the Manhattan native and proud Cam’ron stand (Confessions of Fire era, of course) debuts a new, Black Milk-produced titled track “Hate is Earned.” Per usual, Wiki’s wizardry with the English language is on display, complete with his harsh NYC drawl.

Find the track below in Wired Tracks, along with a bevy of other releases from artists like Migos, Mike G of Odd Future, Styles P, G. Herbo and more.
