It’s Carmelo Anthony’s twelfth season in the NBA which means his 12th signature. Jordan Brand has unveiled the Melo M12 for the New York Knicks superstar, and you, to do battle with on the basketball court.
The Jordan Melo M12 is a homage to “the dungeon,” a rec center in Baltimore where Melo sought refuge and got buckets.
As for the tech, says Jordan Brand:
The shoe’s lightweight, flexible form provides better ankle lockdown and comfort while a mesh upper, asymmetrical webbing loops and a pared-down heel and ankle design offer targeted support for a one-to-one fit. Lightweight zoned cushioning and heel lockdown, including four foam pads placed in the interior, augment this pinpointed support.
Two Zoom Air units offer responsive cushioning and a low-profile feel, whereas articulated flex grooves allow the midsole to move with the foot. FlightSpeed technology delivers an explosive first step by maximizing the responsiveness of the air units through compression and deflection.
Melo’s signature kicks have always been top notch as far as comfort and reliability on the court, these seem to be no different.
The Jordan Melo M12 will be available starting January 2 and will cost you $160. New colorways will arrive through the spring and you can peep detailed images below and on the following pages.
