Donald Trump and his inflammatory statements about immigrants coming to America galvanized his base into following the GOP presidential hopeful’s ill-advised lead. Trump introduced to a campaign crowd another of his Black followers that he’s conned into believing the business mogul’s anti-immigrant rhetoric on Wednesday.

Raw Story reports:

The GOP hopeful then introduced Jamiel Shaw, whose son was killed by an undocumented immigrant in 2008.

“That’s why we need Donald Trump,” Shaw said after explaining about his son’s tragic death. “Because Donald Trump is going to make it safe again.”

“Nobody cares. It’s all about illegal aliens, that’s all they care about,” he continued. “They don’t care about us as Americans. Trump wants to make America first, okay. We need that.”

Shaw added: “This is our time to live on the Earth. Why do we have to be under this oppression from illegal aliens, and they’re getting the American dream and we’re getting the American nightmare.”

In conclusion, he insisted that the “only way we’re going to fix it” was to elect Trump.

Shaw also said that Trump was “sent from God” and urged attendees to trust the candidate.
